Mili Institute of Higher Education celebrated International Student Day on November 17, 2023.
A special ceremony with a series of functions was organized in the presence of the senior management of Mili and a great number of students.
Prior to the beginning of the program, a documentary which was prepared by the Department of Cultural Affairs was presented. The documentary included the background, history, and significance of students in society.
Moreover, it had the messages of some students from different departments.
Later, Abdul Saboor Momand, the academic vice-chancellor congratulated all the students and advised them to deeply understand their responsibilities.
He emphasized that the greatest moral value of a student is his respect, honesty, and hard work.
They expressed their gratitude to their teachers and asked their fellow students to adapt themselves to the situation and be ready for every challenge they face.
Finally, the appreciation certificates were distributed among the hardworking students, particularly those who regularly visited the library and followed up their lecturers more often than not.
The day of 17 November is an important day for international education, and this day is being celebrated across the globe annually to offer honor and special dedication to students.
